A Miracle in the Mystical Shop

Usually when I walk into a mystical or magickal shop, I expect to be a loner. I don't expect there to be any minorities in the shop but me. But today, there was a miracle. Yes folks, a miracle.

I went to one of my favorite locations to go see if there was anything that I can get for one of my friends' birthdays. I ended up picking a nice faery shirt off one of the racks because I saw she was wearing one the other day and I figured, what could possibly be wrong with another one? *grin*

Now that I had something for myself, I went to go look for some things for me. Normally when looking around, I kinda daydream and just let the day's events go by. I usually make jokes with my boyfriend when it comes to racial stereotypes (He's white, I'm African Aerican). Then it popped into my head. I was going to ask the shop owner out of curiosity if I was the only African American woman going into her shop. But then I backed down because I was drawn to a book on one of the shelves. So I was searching and searching and the door opened behind me. I turn around and there she was, another African American woman. I smiled at her, she smiled back and the shop owner greeted her. (And it sounded like she knew her too) She ended up purchasing a candle. It was as if she knew right where to go...almost as if *gasp* she's been there before.

You see how Spirit answers our questions in the form of events or the things people say and do? All you have to do is be aware. lol Just wait until you're all alone amongst a group of people who have comefrom different backgrounds from you. Then you wonder if the people fromyour background would be interested in what the people from their background is. Then you'll understand. I wonder if white rappers go through the same thing...
